Who am I 

French National born in Brittany but  lived and studied in Lyon ( my family is from Lyon)

I am a senior international banking and capital markets executive with 30 years of extensive financial markets and management experience. I bring a multi-cultural viewpoint to life and work, having lived and worked in France, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Work experience 

After having acquired experience in France and Germany, I began my career in London in 1981 in the structured finance and then capital markets business. In 1998, I joined UBS P&D before being appointed in 1992 as Global Head of Debt Capital Markets. I held this position at Barclays, Commerzbank, and then JP Morgan Chase, where I was appointed Head of European Fixed Income.

In 2004, I joined Natixis (originally Ixis CIB) in London as Country Manager and Head of Capital Markets. In 2008, I was appointed CEO of CIB Americas and in the spring 2012 was appointed CEO of CIB EMEA.

Education

I hold an MBA from London Business School, which ranks first in Europe and top four in the world.

Hobbies 

As a younger man, I played a lot of rugby and being so close to the Alps, I learned skiing when I was 5 years old. I also discovered, very early, my passion about sailing and enjoyed my time on Hobby cat Tiger (if you watch the video below , you will understand why). As I got older, I first moved to golf and my partners will describe me as ”Work in progress” and went on to bigger sailing boat in order to stop hurting myself.

My Family

I am happily married with Emilie who bravely followed me in the early 80’s to London where we have since spent most of our life. We have 3 children that were all born in London, went to the French Lycée before going to English University. The three of them are still based in the UK today.
